Interpretive planning involves research, non-fiction writing, spatial storytelling and design. Kendra Dobson researched the history of Booker T. Washington's visit to Austin, Texas in 1911, and wrote scripts, interpretive plans, and digital interpretive panels for History All Around Us. She designed the layout at each site and scripted the interaction design.
